Kogei Festival is a 2day event at the Shiinoki Green Space. Over 100 craft stalls from individual craftspeople, who mostly don’t have shops. Extensive range from pottery to woven baskets to glassware and there are many workshops for you to participate. Think gold leaf small plates, tote bags using Kaga Yuzen stencil dyeing or metal working. Each class is usually 40minutes. There are over a dozen local foods stalls also. Kanazawa for centuries has been famous throughout Japan for is craftwork and artisans, so take a unique piece home with you. 8minute drive from Kanazawa Station.
